Check Engine Light...Hesitation..."Camshaft Position Sensor"

Hi, I recently bought a used 2006 stratus with 83K miles.
I had the same problem of car jerking on the high way and power cutting down (derated?) with check engine light on.
Now when I took it to a mechanic it says (Po340), its the Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction, so he is checking the circuit , may be some bad wiring?The sensor was already replaced once.
Any guys here has any updates with their car repairs?
