broke down on highway!!!!!!!!
Can some1 please help me just get this thing started again...so im driving fine at about 65 and then i push down on the gas and it dont speed up so then i punched it a lil harder and then it started dropping and then around 50-55 it cut off..now it wont start can sum1 pklease help me...its a 97 2.4 16 valve stratus

second, you need to give more syptoms for anyone to figure it out. Was it making sounds? Did you just fill your car up with gas?

Sounds like either a dirty fuel filter or a fuel pump thats on its way out. Id start by changing out my fuel filter, it wont be more than $25, and if it still persists, get a quality fuel injector cleaner- like Seafoam, and have at it. If it still persist, id look into replacing the fuel pump.

I had the same problem with my ford escort 1.8 dohc, and thenagain with my starus .
it turns out both were my EGR valve.
after changing about a hundred things, and costing me lots of money.... one mor ething does teh engine just turn over and over? like the starter goes but no fire??
