Trunk Leaking
I've done some research and found that this is a common thing in dodge cars however I'm having trouble fixing it.
I pulled all the trunk interior out and found the leak is coming in from the right side because of the moisture in the carpet on that side. Also the sealant that was used is black on this side along the bottom.
I dried everything up and shut the trunk and sprayed the hose on for about 15 minutes and there's water along the floorboard on the right side but it's just gathering up in the edge along the black sealant. The water isn't coming in from there because I have the hose on the windshield and the water would have to come up from the ground to just appear there. I can't find any trace of water along the sides.
It makes little sense to me and I'm thinking maybe the water is just coming in through the trunk hatch but if it just fell there it'd at least splash along the sides.
I was wondering if anyone had advice on how to tell where exactly the water is coming in from. I'm not sure what kind of tests I could run to figure it out.
A side question - the actual weatherstripping that goes around the trunk looks very worn. You can see how it appears the water may be going past the weatherstripping so I wanted to replace it. All the auto part stores in my town do not carry this item so I was wondering if there was a website online I could find a cheaper price at than the dealer.
Thanks for any help. I just bought this car and that appears to be the only major issue. The horn doesn't work either (the relay just clicks a lot) but that is not as major as my trunk rusting out.
Thanks for reading and any help!

did you spray through your wheel wells?? ive got a leak similar and my guess is that it was coming from the water coming off of my tires, cause its fine unless im driving when the ground is wet. only thing it would bother to me is my subs, but its not that far up either
