Default General Stratus Questions

This is my first Daimler-Chrysler vehicle. '05 Dodge Stratus SXT v6 2.7l.
A couple questions:

1. Are there remote starters available for this vehicle?

2. How long should my car take to warm up? It takes roughly 20min. (live in UT)

3. Where can I find the wireing schematics?

4. Is there a repair manual for this vehicle? i.e. Haynes

yes there are remot starters available for your car, 20 mins is a normal warm up period, and you can get a chilton or haynes manual at any auto parts store for cheap(usually around $20) and those should have wiring diagrams in them

Superstrat pretty much hit it on the nose....but I'll go ahead and add some to it...

1.) Yes, there are remote starters available. You can purchase them from any audio installer place, Best Buy, etc... I had one installed in my stepdad's 03 Stratus SE sedan... ran me about $220 installed at Best Buy. Certain models have a chipped key, so you may have to fork out additional money to get one of those keys. They can cost about $50-100.

2.) Your car will warm up differently according to the weather and altitude. Since its winter, most cars will take 10-15....and it also depends on how you have your heat settings set...

3 & 4.) You can purchase a Chiltons or Haynes manual for your car. Napa, Auto Zone, Parts America, etc...

You've got a fairly solid car. Other then it being a Stratus (insert joke here) there's nothing wrong it. Decent size, decent gas mileage, and it will run for quite a while if properly maintained. It's not going to win a beauty contest, but hey....its a decent car.
