Default 95 Stratus, Electrical mess...

I've got a 95 stratus which had bad starter (kept blowing theignition fuse) which was replaced. Ever since then, the following things do not work.

Dome light, Radio, Power locks (auto locking at 15mph still works), brake lights.

I've checked the fuses visually (which I am going to do again with an Ohm meter) but all appears to be in order. Does anyone have any ideas about what to check for? I don't have any wiring diagrams so I don't know if there are any fusable links etc. If anyone has such diagrams, posting them would be most helpfull.

Anther thing that has been going on much longer is the tach. It works intermittantly. Any tips on that would be great too.

Finally, the vent control actuator seems to have gone bad (at least that was what I was told) since I cannot change the vents that the air/heat comes out of. Does anyone have any experience replacing them? Is ita difficult job? Whats the clearest path to the thing?

I've seen some good tips and suggestions on this board so I am hopeful that someone can help me out. Thanks...

Ok, after doing to searching, it seems likely that the problem is a common ground somewhere which links all of these things. (minus the tach). Any ideas where such a ground terminal might be?

Thanks

There are grounds all over. Most are under the dash on the firewall and behind the kick panels. I do not know where the exact one you are looking for is located.

Haynes repair manual #25015 has everything you need to know for your car, including wiring diagrams, and schematics. I wish I could post them for you but my scanner isn't working

Default RE: 95 Stratus, Electrical mess...

the tach problem has something to do with the gauge cluster pcb.
two resistors usually detach from the pcb and make your tach not work...
resolder these resistors and you should be back in business.

hope this helps
