WOW! Thanks for your help guys! I was honestly not expecting to get sooo much feed back. Most forums arnt quite as active as this one. Its nice to find some REAL strat enthusiasts! I am still open for any other suggestions you guys may have and as I start working on my R/T i will let you guys know how things are turning out. Do you know of any kind of engine dress up or any Cheaper methods of defining my strat?

 

I had a K&N CAI on my 01 R/T Coupe. Absolutely loved it. No problems with it at all. I love K&N. Heres a pic of the K&N.

I also had a Hayame XT1-R 3" Muffler with a 3" exhaust system (I was planning turbo'ing the car but sold it two weeks after the custom install). Before that I had a custom 2.5" muffler oval shaped that was really really quiet but sounded good. I've found Magnaflow on the R/T's to be pretty quiet. Unforunately I can't upload the exhaust because its a .bmp file, its probably far louder than you would want yours to be anyhow. I had the resonators removed when I had it done. Sounded great though. But for quiet tones, the Magnaflow I would say....would be best.

Engine dress up. I had the Icibahn hose dress up kit in silver. And I painted most of my engine bay (plastics valve cover) Flo-Green with high temp engine paint. I was all about the green! lol. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of that...looked pretty good though. Heres some pix of my interior and strat itself. Damn I miss this car. These pictures are before I dropped it with DropZone coilovers, and had it on KYB AGXs. I might be able to find a list of the mods. Most were small cosmetic things. By the way, those gauges aren't available anymore, not that they would fit the 04 anyhow, but I loved them.

Yeah nice pictures! I am still havin the hardest time finding a damn intake, CAI prefered. I would love an AEM but they arn't supprting the 2004 R/T's yet. Same thing happened with my firebird too. they dont make anything for cars i buy haha!

MagnaFlow is definately the way im going on exhaust i like that their quiet cuz i hate those 10HP hondas that sound like they actually have power HAHA!!! damn guys yall find all the parts and i cant find where are you getting them from?? and where do the dressup items come from ive looked at other strats with all this stuff that says what brand and i cant ever find it. Thanks for the feedback!

PS: are there any stratus clubs in NC i would like to seee up close what some of these guys have done.

 

Search for a CAI for an 00 and up Eclispe...Same thing.

 

That goes for any engine thing except a clutch. You can use an Eclispe clutch but need to change the flywheel too.

 

there are a ton of CAIs on ebay right now! im not lying...
