go to 2gstratus.org for all your answers. Use the search feature. I have an AEM short ram and had a CAI on my other R/T. Both are good. I never did a catback or headers, so look at that site for your answer.

I got my short ram from a member used. But it was still in the sealed box/bags for $100. I think the CAI gets a little more HP, but I worried about engine hydro lock so I went with the shorty. It seems a little loauder than the CAI too. Of course you can spend extra and get the by-pass to avoid hydro lock, but I'm on a budget.

hmmm..you bought it from a member of 2g? my username is RT02racer there...i havent been there in months...or very rarely...who did you buy it from? we have a few 2g members here now...

and as for hydro lock..i was worried at first...like id change mine when i went out in the rain..but then i stopped caring..my car has an extended engine warranty...so i could care less...but even in VERY hard rain..ive had no problems...and my filter is located about 4 inches behind my drivers side fog light...and my CAI screams at high rpm.

Oh and the hydro thing. Only one time I would have had a problem. A week after the Hurricane a couple of weeks ago we had a hard rain over night and had I drove the Strat to work, I would have been stuck, cos both road into my work were flooded. Since I now have to drive the Strat to work I went for the shorty.

I had an Indy Red 01 until early this year, now I have a Black one. I have an 82 Rampage that I'm putting a motor in right now and an 86 Aries K Wagon, which is now basically my Step-sons.
