ive got the 2001 stratus rt... its sweet of course.. lol

but any way.. its got the 6g72 ... which i thought was a 3.0 v6 12valve sohc... well.. i just assumed that for the longest time until i finally put together the fact that the engine actually says its a 24valve????? so does that mean that my car does not have the 6g72 but instead a different motor??? btw.. i wanna wanna wanna put the 6g74 short block in?? anyone know about that?

 

The older version had 12 valves, yours has 24. Inside the engine bay, on the firewall near the passenger side you will see the name plate. It will say Mitsubishi, the engine code, interior color, exterior color, etc. 6G74 swap can be completed, im just not sure of the details.
