Hey new guy to site, but I had a question I have a 02 Stratus r/t and on the roof of my car there is a huge spot/spots where the black paint is turning white and its starting to go down to the top of my doors, and i have seen a couple of stratus' / other crysler products around town that have the same problem, can anyone tell me what this is from?

 

Aww the infamous paint cancer. Nothing you can do just about all the cars will get it eventually.

 

Something about the primer not being quit compatible with the paint. My 02 R/T has the same problem, started on the top of the rear fenders and then the trunk and now the section between the door and the roof. Paint job will cost me at least $1500 and probably then some.
