Default rubbing and squeek on 1999 Dodge Stratus

I have a 1999 Dodge Stratus 4cyl, four door nothing fancy but it has been a wonderful third car for the family. It has 160,000 miles on it and runs great. We just do the normal maintenance on it and fix the things that show up.
This week my daughter was driving and said she heard a new noise. Over the weekend I have been driving and when it drives down the highway or straight no problem. However I pulled into a tight parking spot and had to crank wheel all the way to the right and the right wheel sounded like it was rubbing on something. When I brought it back it sounded like the whole steering linkage was rubbing on something and squeeked.
When it is turned all the way to the right wheel squeeks on the linkage turn; not when the wheeel is turning. I put my knee on that corner when turned all to the right it squeek and I could hear it outside the car where I was pushing on it.
Any ideas before I march it off to the garage. It has been a wonderful car for us and I still feel there is plenty to go for that car.

Could be tie rods, we have our replaced so many times we have lost track. Have it checked at the dealer.
