We have a 96 stratus. We just replaced the cat converter and o2 sensors. It ran great for like 3 days and now it is idling weird. It stays running but the rpm gage will go up and I will hear almost a rushing of air sound. The rpm will then go back to normal. When I speed up I hear the rushing of air noise. Sporatically while driving I will feel the car bog down and it feels like I am almost riving against extremely high winds. It cycles back and forth like this. I can let the car sit and run, it don't stall just idles weird. I have spent like $1,000 on this car in the past month I am ready to drive it to the junk yard, soon as I fix one thing within a day or so something major needs to be fixed.

 

I'd check the hoses going to the intake ...Also run some seafoam thru it and see if that gets the Idle Air Controller freed up
