Last week the charging system warning light came on, however, when we stopped and restarted the car it would go off and then came back on a few miles down the road. We stopped and had the battery and alternator tested, showed bad diode in alternator, so we replaced it. Worked without issue for 2 days, then once again same symptoms. warning light comes on and restarting car corrected problem. Now i am beginning to notice that when it does this there is electricaldisruption in the odometer in the dash, but it seems if i get the key in just right, that it will not cause this disruption or the warning light to come on. Any ideas or solutions anyone could throw out there for me would be greatly appreciated. Oh and also i have not had any problems starting the car.

I am leaning towards an issue with the ignition switch?
