I have a 99 stratus 2.0 liter 5 speed, i recently took it into a mechanic, because it wouldn't hold a charge, and he said my alternator and the charging system was fine, but that i have a bad battery. I had installed a new battery last year in july, but something happened with the negative jumpstart connection and it sparked a a week after i installed the battery while i was tightening the negative jumpstart connection, so im thinking a new battery will solve my prob. I also have a problem with my brake lights. All three don't seem to go on when the brakes are engaged, and i checked the fuse, and it seems fine, and the other accessories attached to that fuse all work. Im thinking something is wrong with the brake switch that sets them off when the brakes are applied any ideas?
