Default Stratus coupe front brake conversion question

Hello all,
I have a 2002 Stratus Coupe with a 2.4L. Now the front brake rotors that actually fit my car are from an 01 with 14 inch wheels. I have upgraded my wheels to 17 inch from an 04 R/T and was wondering what all is different to convert the front rotors over tothe r/t rotors. I have noticed that the caliper mount can be unbolted and wondered if the R/T was the same way and if the only difference was that the bracket extends out further than mine. Any help would be appreciated and also am having a very hard time finding an R/T in any bone yards to compare and get needed parts. Anyone know where any are sitting? Thanks in advance Jesse

Default RE: Stratus coupe front brake conversion question

Whered you get 2.5g wheels and how much? I bought mine last summer.

As for the brakes, I did a rear disc conversion, and as for the fronts, you can use Mitsubishi Lancer Evo Brembos, if you have the cash. The R/T calipers will bolt up, but you have to get new rotors and pads either way. Someone with an Eclipse (same car) put Camaro calipers up front, and Mustang Cobra rotors, but had to make a bracket. Post some pics of the car!
