I have a little problem. I was driving down the road and the check engine light came on. Once the light was on, when i stepped on the gas it starts bucking. Once I get to a stop, i can kill the car and the bucking stops. The check engine light stays on, but goes off after a day. This has happen a couple of times. It usally takes about a day or two between instances. ( by bucking i mean as i give it gas it feels as if there is no gas getting to the engine. ) Any suggestions.

check what code it's spitting out. if it's an old one, you'll be counting the engine light blinking. if it's a new one it'll tell you the code in the odometer

you turn the key from OFF to RUN without going far enough to start the car four or five times very quickly.
