Default Auto Locking Doors. How to disable? 00 Stratus ES.

This is going to sound like an odd request. I was wondering if there was a way to disable the auto-locking of my car doors @15mph. I deliver pizza and am in and out of the car constantly, and it makes it difficult (and time consuming) to go to open the back door to realize it's locked. Any help or ideas of where to look to change this would be appreicated.

this is from my owners manual for a 2003 R/T Coupe, so it may or may not be different for other stratus'. if you turn this off, your doors will no automatically lock at 15mph.

1-insert the key in the ignition, leave key in the "OFF" position
2- close both the drivers and passengers doors.
3-Press and hold the driver's (central) door lock switch until a chime sounds (10 seconds). The rolling lock feature will be switched to ON (if it is OFF) or OFF (if it is ON).
If the chime sounds once, the Rolling lock feature is ON
If the chime sounds twice, the Rolling lock feature is OFF

Pulled this off another Stratus forum.

Thank you for the tip. However, this does not work (or didn't for me anyways), on my 2000 ES (first generation). Any other ideas? Any first gen owners with manuals handy?

Maybe this:

to turn off automatic rolling door lock

1) close all of the doors
2) place the key in the ignition and cycle the key from the off postion to the on position for a total of four times ending in the on postion, do not start the engine
3) press the driver's side power door lock switch to lock the doors within 30 seconds
4) You will hear a single chime when the programming is completed and the automatic door lock feature will be deactivated.
5) to enable feature again, fallow the same steps

Tried that this morning. it didn't work either. I appreciate your efforts. Maybe it's something that's new in the 2g stratus.

Default UPDATE: Auto Locking Doors. How to disable? 00 Stratus ES.

UPDATE:
OK, I got my hands on a first generation service manual (still need a copy of the owners manual - anybody?).
It is from the '97 model year, but the information appears to be consistant for other items I've tried.

Here is what I found.

The rolling locks can only be disabled by a BCM code reader.
The BCM can also be used to disable the horn when locking the car via remote, as well as some other features that can be easily changed by the consumer on the 2nd gen strats.
