In the mornings when I first start up my car sometimes a loud screeching noise will start and last at least 20 seconds or less. And other times when I start up the car and start driving with my foot on the gas the noise will come back and when I get off the gas pedal it will go away. This problem only happens sometimes and only when the car is cold, after at least 4 or more hours of sitting. Any ideas?

REPLACE BELT AND MAKE SURE ALL PULLEYS ARE ALIGNED AND STRAIGHT

 

i'm having the same problem. I had my belt changed a few months back and ever since my belt squeels at random times but ESPECIALLY when its raining or damp out. I am taking it back to the dealer in the next couple weeks because its getting worse and pissing me off lol
