Default pesty oil leak on 1999 dodge stratus

Hey guys im new to this forum, i have a question. I have a 1999 dodge stratus 2.4l. I noticed acouple days ago when checking my oil that the dipstick was very low, i had to add 2 quarts. The next day i go to check the level and it was down once again. I look underneath the car and see small drips coming from the oil filter area. I think that the oil filter is leaking, maybe the gasket was bad so i change the oil and put a new filter on it. I go to drive to walmart, park it, and when leaving, i notice oil on the ground. I look underneath and theres oil coming once again from the oil filter area. I get home and use brake cleaner and spray all underneath the car because it was quite wet. I clean it up and start it up. I let it run for 5 min and see no drips, i take it for a test ride, come back and what you know those drips return. I look up above were the oil filter housing is and it looked wet. I dont know what kind of gasket or seal there is in that area and need your help in maybe you know. Its wet above the oil pan, coming from the back right side of the motor. If you could help me in my problem id appreciate it.thanks

could it be the oil pressure sending unit? is it located above or near the oil filter area?

The oil sending unit caused an oil leak on my 2000 startus 2.5L. You can purchase oil dye and uv light at the auto part store add it to the engine oil and then detect the exact location of the oil leak.
