Hello, i am very interested in importing one of these to Canada, What i plan on doing is looking via Ebay and various sites for the "Perfect" car.

I am interested in the Dodge Stratus R/T 2005 Model but anything from 02-05 will be good. What i need to know is what should i look for when looking at the car? Common issues and such.

Also will Parts for common repair be the same here (canada) as they would be in the USA?

They never Sold it in Canada and its a shame, such a sexy car.

Do they sell 00-05 Mitsubishi Eclipses in Canada? If so, mechanically you get parts easy. Same exact car. BTW, to help broaden your search, 01-02 is 2g, and 03-05 is 2.5g. Slight body changes, nothing else.

I've got an 02 R/T and my only suggestion would be to stay away from the color black, clearcoat failure is a very ugly thing. Not sure if CC failure on black paint issue would include the 03-05 models.

 

Yea Black on 01-02 has major clearcoat problems. And I also hear the belt tensioner on the v6's can go out.
