i have an o3 sxt ..i bought a cai off ebay and it didnt come with cleaning instructiions..it is a bomz (red cone) not sure if there is oil involved and im new to the whole thing..i have a second cone...but i would hate to just toss it in the trash (rather not use it if im not sure i havent screwed it up ....

Go to the auto parts store and buy the $10 K&N Air filter cleaner kit. Follow the instructions, and if its a dry flow filter, don't oil it, just put it back on the car.
