Question Oil Pressure Light Problem - 2004 2.4L

Stratus, 135K miles, runs great, 26 mpg, VIN code X 2.4L engine still having problems with the oil pressure light...now wants to stay on most of the time. No check engine light. Rock auto sells 2 different styles of oil pressure switches for this engine...1 wire and 2 wire. Local Auto Parts store sold me a 1 wire, when I questioned why do I see both types as applicable they told me that this model has two switches...one to activate the oil pressure light and one to feed the computer. I have looked all over the engine with light and mirror and can only find one, just ahead of the transmission between the engine and the fire wall. Have looked for a manual...no luck so far, will have to try harder. I really believe it is an indicator problem, not real oil pressure problem. But now I'm not driving it until I know for sure. Please Help!!

Well, I jumped in with both feet. I replaced the oil pressure switch located as noted in the original post. I had purchased a replacement 1-wire switch from AutoZone...Part # PS278. Turns out that this was exactly like the one I removed. Also, the old one was leaking oil through the switch(not around the threaded plug)...not much, but it was leaking. Now works like a champ!!
