Default where is the EGR valve located?

I have a 1996 Stratus 4cyl with an engine code. The reader states it is the EGR valve. Where is this part located and is it an easy fix or am I taking the car to a mechanic?

Thanks

I'd try running seafoam thru the intake tract first ...I'm guessing yo are around 100K miles the valves can get sticky , I've free'd them up with a good cleaning with seafoam

Hello there I am new to this forum and I am looking for little bit of help my G/F has a 97 stratus 2.4L and the CEL just came on, the code P0401 (EGR valve insuficient flow). Now I'd like to know first where is the EGR valve located (a pic would be great) second is that a common problem? I'll use sea foam but I'd like to remove the egr valve and clean it.

I call a store and they want $280 (can) for the valve, is that right?? kind of expensive, they say is a electric valve, I found some on Ebay for 85.

Please help me out here!!
