I have an 01 Stratus and the past four months that car has been blowing starter fuses. I had an EVSII alarm on the car but ripped it out a month ago when the car blew like 12 starter fuses in 2 days. The car will be fine for a month usually and then I will go to start the car and Iit won't start. Then i replace the fuse and is starts up fine. I think it is the starter. Any ideas?

 

had exact same prob w 95. Starter nose bushing is cheap and wore out until armature ground away to a short in it.
