I recently attempted to change the fluid and filter in my 03 stratus 2.4L automatic without OD. After removing the cover on the front I found that the kit I got from napa was wrong. Took it back to napa and they didn't have one that matched. We then noticed that it says Mitsubishi on the dipstick. Is this normal to have a mitsubishi trans? Also there was not filter under this cover looks like the solenoid bank and vavle body. There is another cover on the drivers end of the trans anyone know what is under there. I would really like some pictures of what I am looking for or maybe a link to a step by step procedure. Thanks Cody

 

From the transmission saying "mitsubishi" I am going to guess that you have the coupe?..Which is pretty much a re branded mitsubishi eclipse. you probably have the kit from the sedan, which is a dodge build, and mechanically incompatible .
