Bad catalytic converter?
I have 2000 Stratus with 2.4 engine. How can I make sure my cat converter is bad. Any noises or anything else that would tell me?

If it's rotted out it will sound like a maraca... My 95 2.0 had a rotted cat when I bought it.

get a hammer and crawl under the car and hit the car with the handle..if the cat is breaking apart, it will rattle when you hit it with the handle.
