alright i was gettin gas and there was a big puddle of anitfreeze under my car. i crawled under it and it was leaking from right by the passenger side tire a little towards the front. it was not from hoses or radiator so i am guessing and the mechanics said it was a bad water pump. is there any truth to a bad water pump and antifreeze leaking?

Sounds like water pump. I would be less expensive to fix it ASAP...

 

If the problem is the water pump, change the timing belt at the same time.
