hi everyone. i have a 98 stratus 2.5L check engine light came on and read p1294, the reader said Manufacturer Control Fuel Air Metering. i looked the code up on the net and it said-target idle not reached. i recently changed plugs, wires, & cap. the idle is low and if i dont rev it to about 1500rpm until it warms up it dies on me. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks.

p.s. thanks for helping me with my oil light it was the sending unit!

 

I would check for vacuum leaks at first.
