Default Recommendations for replacing my coil pack and other ignition mods?

Hey, I've got a '99 2.4L Stratus.

I'm at 110,000 and have done pretty much all PM work already(all belts, plugs, wires, gasket cover replacement, transmission service, using high mileage Valvoline, fuel filter replaced etc), and the car is in good shape so I figured I'd mod it some for fun.

I would like to replace my front struts. The backs are alright, but my front struts creak a lot when the car dips or I have to take it into a strange angle. I guess thats another story.

Primary questions here:

I've found the Screamin Demon and MSD aftermarket ignition coil, but was wondering if either has had better reviews than the other on the forums? Or are they even worth replacing my stock one for performance gains?

I'm looking to improve my plugs if I do this obviously with whichever I end up getting and installing some Bosch +4s or even their Iridium Fusion plugs perhaps. I currently have NGK V or G-Power plugs(cant remember lol) with standard OEM replacement wires.

The only mod I've done so far is a K&N air intake w/ short-ram. Not a true cold-air intake. I have read up on replacing the intake and exhaust manifolds, but may just do a cat-back system with an aftermarket muffler. I'm looking into a Skunk2 since they have silencers and my friend has a fit that sounds good with it. I don't want to get louder, but if I can get some of the restrictions related to stock muffler eliminated I'll be happy.

I believe stock exhaust piping is 2 1/4 already, right? I have this weird dent just after my converter in my pipe though. Right around the 2nd O2 sensor. I want to get a high-flow cat with 2 1/4 or even 2 1/2 stainless/mandrel bent piping to the muffler.

I saw an exhaust manifold for a neon as being an option according to howell automotive, but don't know of anyone who has actually installed them on the 2.4L. Since I'm not going turbo it probably wouldn't make any sense to replace my stock exhaust manifold anyway, unless it could somehow improve gas mileage or give noticeable performance gains.

Otherwise, I saw a couple ignition controllers online, but don't know how they'd help me out, unless it'd work hand-in-hand with upgrading my plugs/wires/coil pack?

Thanks for any feedback guys. I'm just getting into cars so please bear with me.

Oh, yeah forgot to add a link to these struts. For pure annoyance reasons I want to get these first to avoid any further creaking and cracking when I go over and speed bumb or dip in the road of any kind.
