Interior Power Failure
Hello all,
I am new to the board as I have inherited all of the problems that Wife's 96 stratus has.
Between her not taking care of the car and her father thinking he know's how to fix things, its tough to tell what condition the car really is in. But this is the problem I am having right now, Nothing inside of the car works unless you turn the key to on.
no hazzards/ interiror lights, radio, or anything. and then once the car was on there still was no interior lights or radio, so my father in law "jumpered" the interior light fuse to the radio fuse so that when the car is on they work, as soon as the car is off and the key is removed... nothing...
The only thing that I could get to work with the car off is the headlights.
So it would seem like I have a major ground problem somewhere... The car does have an aftermarket sun roof that was working but stopped some time last year, and I was told it was the motor by her and her father, but now with the almost catasprohic failure in the inside I am not sure.
I can say that see is guilty of leaving the windows open in the rain, and the sunroof can leak like a siv even when closed.
Where would be a good spot to look for coresive grounds? or what do you all think?
Thanks,
96 Stratus from HELL.
