the car runs at about 200 degrees... with out air(AC) maybe a few degrees hotter 205... driving it runs at about 195(RAM Air).... stopping at the lights it gets back up there... didn't get a chance to look at flow.... but will it flow like my (sold) 340 duster?

i dont know...ive never stood and watched my coolant on the stratus with the rad cap off. i know what you mean with the 340, as you can see it surging past the opening, and while i think that the stratus should do the same, im not sure because ive not tried it myself.

so just sitting in your garage or driveway, no matter what, without the AC on the fans dont kick on?

They kicked on at 210... cool back down to about 200 then shut off... so that seams to be working now(changed temp sensor) hopefully the thermostat will take care of it... just waiting on a gasket... now... is the thermostat located on the lower radiator hose and sitting sideways?

I should have went 170... it helped a little.... need to burp it some more... more driving tonight to see what she does.... well I got feed up waiting for a gasket so I decided to take it apart.... to see what paper gasket I needed... well low and behold it doesn't need one... it has a rubber O ring around the thermostat... looked good so I put it on the new one... and every place I called... even the dealer(they want 78.02 for a new thermostat and gasket)said I needed this gasket and it don't exist... more to follow

OK... 75% better... it fluctuates a little... hopefully just some air still in there... it still rises at stops and sitting.. but not as bad as it was.... rev'd it at 3000 rpm temp started climbing, but when I left off it started dropping... definately going in the right direction

Ok... still don't like it but here are the results of my testing..... cruising its great runs around 180-185.... intown still sucks gets to 210(at lights) before the fans kick on going 25-35 mph its gets to about 195-200... so what is the highest temps do you think I should see? and am I being to paranoid about this???? banging my head against a wall....

At cruise it shows half way.... then when it gets upto 210 its a little above 3/4.... just none of my Dodges have ever fluctuated like this.... and this has to be the fastest warming up car I have ever seen...hahaha
