Hey guys, my friend wants me to fix their Stratus. It has the 2.5L and after looking over it and trying to get it to start, I found out that its getting plenty of fuel but its not getting any spark whatsoever. It did look like the plug wires needed replaced but is the distributor a common problem with these? I'm thinking changing the cap and rotor, plug wires and plugs. But is it a common problem for the distributor to go bad on these?

 

I'd check the ASD relay on the firewall they are cheap ie $5 easy swap
