Get a can of carb cleaner and spray around some. I had a rough/high idle (it would be low and rough sometimes and then be high sometimes) and I decided to spray some carb cleaner in an area where I thought I heard some extra air noise( I have a cold air intake so I thought maybe it was just the device sound). While Idling low, whil squirting all over the throttle body area, the RPM's boosted immediately. I ended up replacing the gasket for it, but while doing that, I found a part that had lost a screw and was simply sticking out the front of the throttle body causing basically a 3/4 to 1 inch vacuum leak.

This is after I tuned the car up and even replaced the coil packs( mine has 2 coil packs).

I got a screw and lock washer and locked that part down and it purred like a kitten, no codes.

Your problem could be a tune up or vacuum leak or fuel, but I rattled around with mine for a while, and I figured it out, so I do recommend checking vacuum leaks right away!

It will cost very little to buy the carb cleaner and could save a lot of time and money-
