Hi so I recently bought a 2005 Dodge Stratus sxt 2.4L at 95k miles and it looks like the timing belt hasn't been changed yet. I realize this is a major issue that I'm looking into, I was just wondering if this is the type of thing that must be done at a mechanic or would it be fine for a friend of mine who is a new mechanic fresh out of school to work on it.
