It was just noticeable yesterday but my girlfriend went to start my car and immediately it died. Pulled the codes and it came back as an engine misfire and the dreaded gas cap issue. when i started the car last night it idled fine but when i put it in gear it starting jerking as if it wanted to die. we took a look at all the plugs and wires and then checked the transmission. It wasn't strawberry red so we changed the fluid but did not find a area for the filter this is a 04 r/t 3.0. Now it has been driven but sounds like there is something floating around inside the transmission. any easy way or cheap way to find out. also if anyone knows what commercial i saw but it was like insurance for just under the hood instead of buying a extended warranty really don't have money for that right now.
