Sebring question (Stratus)
I'm new to this site. I live in North Florida and obviously I need my A/C. My dilemma is, last year I took my 99 Sebring Conv to the local Chry dealer to have the A/C evaporater coil replaced. Up to that point, I had no problems with the car. I got the car back and within 2 hours, I lost all the dash gages, remote door opener capability, and A/C compressor. I turned the car off, went out the next morning and everything worked until the systems seemed to warm up. then off again. Went back to the dealer and told them they did something to the vehicle, which they denied. To this day they claim the BCM just went out. It displays the CCD error on the system window. If this is an onboard computer then why does it work sometimes. My understanding of computers is that once they go bad, they're finished. The systems work about 40% to 50% of the time. Sometimes it's just the ambient temp that shut it all down. Where is the BCM located?
