Greeting all. I am a newbie hoping to get some help......I have a 2001 Dodge Stratus and got the P 1684 code when starting my car today. I looked up the code and have found three items that it could be.

I have not disconnected the battery at all within the last 50 starts. The other items I found were the metering oil pump position sensor circuit malfunction and I don't remember what the other was.

One thing I haven't heard was what happened when I started up the car. Everything fickered and blinked about 6 times when I started the car and the factory cd changer went into a blink session. The car won't even start at this point and there's a clicking coming from the engine compartment when I try to start the car.

Can anyone please help me?
