i just hit 90k and im going to swap my spark plugs but have no idea how to get the back ones off..do i have to take the manifold to reach the back or if someone could give me a step by step that would be great thanks

 

don't have my manual infront of me but going off 1st gen stratus with 2.5, you have to remove the upper intake. I'm guessing that's the same deal for you.

There's a lot of cars out there now requiring engine dismantling to perform basic maint. (taurus 3.0 DOHC, Mazda 6 3.0, etc.) on my tool box, I have a cartoon that shows 2 automotive engineers looking under the hood and one says "nope I can see #4 plug, put a bracket there and move the compressor closer"

 

haha nice cartoon...ya i looked under the hood at autozone and i couldnt see the back and im just thinking great..
