2000 Stratus ES Electrical Problem
Hi All,
I installed a new radio into my 2000 Stratus ES. Immediately after I installed the radio, I found that it intermittently shut off. Sometimes it would reset itself (presets & clock), but usually not. After much aggravation and a LOT of connection checking, I found that the +12V feeds into the factory harness were cycling between +10V and +12V when the radio was acting up. When the radio was not acting up, both feeds were solid at +12V. Has anyone else seen this problem? Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks very much for your help!

It sounds like you will need to wire the power and ground wires directly. Find a good ground under the dash and use it and run your own power wire straight to the battery.
