Can anyone tell me why the tachometer in my 1996 Dodge Stratus would just shut off while driving? It will go off for a little while and then come back on again. The digital odometer also shuts down at the same time then comes back on when the tachometer comes back on. The odometer continues to count the miles even while the display is out. How are these two things related electrically? I can not find anything in any schematic. Thanks.
