2000 Stratus SE sedan 2.4L A/T - wierd shift trouble
OK, wife's stratus at it again 
Has an odd shift problem, that's very intermittent, seems to happen a bit more when cold, but can do it at any time..
at times, when backing out of the driveway, you'll go to shift it into drive, and it'll go into neutral (gear indicator still on D), where you then have to shift into 2 or 1 to get it into a forward gear, then shift into drive and it'll work normally..
at other times, it will just pop into neutral at random, (gear indicator still on D) and you have to shift into a lower gear then back into drive, where it will continue to work normally..
fluid levels check out, works flawlessly other than the odd neutral issue.. Any ideas? any cables to adjust? is it completely fly by wire? dirty connector somewhere?
