My stratus ES has 105000 miles. Sometimes when I turn on the vehicle, it goes into limp in mode. If I drive it for a few miles, turn it off, and start it up again, the car drives fine. I have tried to get failure codes with the key(on-off,on-off,on procedure-without start), but no codes shown on the control panel. I have also used a type ii scanner, but no codes come on.
Does anyone know what could cause a limp-in mode failure at start? Why this failure would not cause any codes to register? Thank you in advance.
