i have a 2004 dodge stratus sedan dohc 2.4l engine and its a 4 dr, the problem is that this sensor is broke and i dont know what its called... i need help trying to figure out the name and purpose for this sensor.

YW Goofy, I've been staring at the same thing for days now. lol I have to track down some problems with my engine too.

 

I almost broke mine the other day jerking around under engine. It has a little plastic face that came off but it still works. I wrapped it with duck tape to protect it. Those little guys are expensive too from 60-100 bucks! Let us know how much you paid for yours...

 

Wow! $60. I got a MAP sensor for $29 at O'reilly's.

 

can anyone help me. my 2004 dodge stratus 2.4l will stay in 3rd gear and will not go to 4th gear.i have changed the soleniod but its still the same.
