99 Stratus front shock clevis rattle
I have a 99 Stratus that has a rattle that is driving me nuts ; its the front drivers side shock clevis that is rattling, but how do you stop the rattle ? Ive jacked up the a -arm and retightened the the clevis bolt - its still rattles ; it hits the a- arm I believe; its never been wrecked ,or thru a ditch, its got alot of miles on , but I plan on putting more on without the rattle ; Thanks !!
Its very simple and will cost you $6. Pop the hood. Inspect the top of the two struts. Remove the the nuts. You will need vice grip to hold the bolt and box wrench to turn the nut. Remove washer and remnants of old rubber washer/grommet. Replace and you are done.
heres the part you need.
