Cool P0455 Help, did the smoke still leaking where

This code is driving me nuts. Replace the cap cause 99% OF THE TIME IT IS THE CAP, wrong. Inspected all hoses and pipes I could. Found nothing. Ended up taking it to the dealer for the smoke test and drop the tank. Only saw a couple of puffs but could not pinpoint the problem and charged $100. Light came back on. They 'think' it may be the purge control valve for $300 something, $500 installed, not sure if it will fix the problem.

Any help here? 2004 Stratus STX with engine code G (4cyl).

They are thinking that this valve vents air in from a cheap filter in the frame rail, well it lets dust in and that gets in the valve causing it to leak and the P0455. Make sense to anyone?

Wondering if I can service the valve or remove it and blow air back through it to clear out any dirt stuck in the valve. ????

Where can I buy the parts cheaper? They said it had to be serviced in 2 parts MR552719 and MR552720.

Can any one email a parts diagram of this set up? It is above the gas tank.

Thanks in advance!!
