First post, been trying to figure this out for weeks. A few months ago every once and awhile my keys would get stuck in my ignition. I'll drive somewhere, put the car in park, turn them and they would only turn about 2/3s the way out. I'd turn the car back on, take a spin around the block, and when i came back it would be fine.

Now it is all the time. My keys are stuck in the ignition and I'm able to start my car and turn the engine off, but only turn the key 2/3s the way out. This also drains my battery so I've been having to jump my car when ever i don't start it for over 6 hours.

I've made sure it was all the way in park, messed around with the ebrake, turning the wheel, banging on the key, etc.

Any advice? What might I have to replace?
