From top of engine. Looks like a sensor burst with antifreeze. 180,000 miles. Head gasket leak causing a pressure buildup somewhere? What sensor is that?

Thats the coolant outlet fitting, where the coolant comes out of the engine. 4 olts hold it to the engine. The coolant temp. sensor is screwed into it on the top. Dealer tells me you can't buy the two gaskets that seal it to the engine BUT you can buy the whole connector (which includes the gaskets) for about $30. You have to remove the upper intake manifold to get to it, which is not too hard, but there are 3 rubber gaskets that seal the upper intake manifold to the lower manifold. Then you can put some RTV on the coolant gaskets, reinstall it and hope for the best!
