Default 2000 Stratus Spark Plugs Keep Going Bad

Have 2000 Stratus V 6 and the check engine light came on. A couple spark plugs were bad. Had them changed along with wires. A couple weeks later check engine again. Two other plugs bad. This has happened four times over the past 9 t0 12 weeks. The plugs were changed a couple weeks agao and now the engine light is on again and the number one plug is bad. It has been the nmber one plug the last three times. Any ideas?

How is it bad?

Could also be distributer/coil packs causing a misfire that could fowl the plugs.

Look at that chart and let us know which it most closely matches when you pull it.

I've also had my plugs get fowled due to a leaking valve cover gasket set. If there is oil in the plug well, than it's a cheap and pretty easy fix. Make sure you get the set that has the valve cover gasket, as well as the plug well gaskets (8 pieces = 2 covers, 6 wells).

It could be a bad ignition coil.

could be bad valve guides/seals carbonizing the plugs.

nice picture, even after 100 years it's still accurate.
