I just replaced an "A" pillar and door on the drivers side of a 2006 Stratus 4 door. I'm getting a "door" indicator light under the odometer. Is there a switch I can check for that door? Anything I can adjust? The door closes fine, but the light stays on.

There should be a plunger switch somewhere where the door meets the jam. It might be missing, pushed into the jam, etc. It should match the location on the passenger side, but can't say for certain. It's an easy fix once you do find it though

All but my driver side one are broken where they think the doors are always closed. My S10 was the same way (wreaks havoc with the alarm system which used the same plungers).

 

I can't seem to find one anywhere. Do they use some type of magnetic switch on the newer models?
