I just got a 04 stratus se 4 door auto, It has bald tires on it so I put 4 new ones on it. Didnt really drive it till I got the new tires so not sure if thats when the problem started. Anyways goes straight down the road but when I steer around a corner or move the wheel slightly it wants to keep going that way. Like its sticky and dont want to go back to center with out fighting it. Once I get it back to center its fine till have to turn slightly again. Its like fighting it back and forth to get it to go straight. Any ideas? There is no squeeling or no noise from power steering. It turns easy just dont want to go back to center.

 

In school I fixed a ladies car that had similar problems we ended up putting a rack and pump in to fix it. took about 2 hrs to do.
