2002 Stratus 2.4L 4 cyl- SOHC
For about a week now I'm having problems with starting my car. It turns over and trys to start, but fails miserably. Early in the mornings it will start with no problem, but if I drive it and turn it off, it takes several attempts to even get it started. Often I have to wait a good 15 mins. Replaced spark plugs, wires, etc. Next step is to change out the ignition coil. When we noticed that one isn't firing? So do you think this is what is happening before I go and spend money on something that may not be the issue. I'm a college student so money is limited. haha.

When you stop a hot engine the coolant stops circulating and there is a tremendous heat build up. If a fuel line it too close to a hot component, or if the heat shield for the fuel line is missing or damaged, you could possibly have vapor lock. The fuel actual boils out of the line.
